The person behind it
Tage has been in the pet industry since leaving the Marines in 2017. Grooming, boarding, daycare — he's worked it all. His aunt is a veterinarian. His wife's background is nonprofits, behavioral health, and sustainability. Their family has three rescue dogs, and they love giant breeds.
Through the Pet Sustainability Coalition, Tage learned that the pet industry is a significant contributor to landfill waste. He didn't want to add to it. He wanted to change it. Goobr is that change — not a manifesto, just a better way to feed your dog and not trash the planet while you do it.

Chicken recipe: chicken, brown rice, oats, tomato pomace, beet pulp, marine microalgae, vitamin blend, salt, dicalcium phosphate, soybean meal. Lamb recipe swaps chicken for lamb, adds yeast, and removes soybean meal. All ingredients are state-compliant and listed on the label. We're legally required to be transparent, and we're happy to be.
Yes. The vending machine is climate-controlled and airtight. Food is stored in food-grade stainless steel silos. We rotate the food every 90 days — compare that to the bag of kibble that sat in a distribution center for a year before hitting a shelf. The vending machine is solar-powered and monitored.
Subscriptions start at $30/month based on your dog's size. When you're running low, text us and we'll schedule a delivery. We come to you, fill your container on the porch. You don't even have to be home. Each additional dog is $15/month. We currently support up to two dogs per subscription — three-dog support is coming soon.
Denver Metro and the Front Range: Denver, Thornton, Boulder, Golden, Littleton, Centennial, Greenwood Village, and surrounding areas — south to Larkspur, east to Bennett. We don't currently serve mountain towns. Not sure if you're in range? Contact us and we'll check.
