Upcycled is Better
In America, we eat less than half of an actual lamb because we think the other half is "icky". What we found is that the "icky" part of the lamb happens to be extremely nutritious - especially for our pups.
While we might believe that a boneless leg of lamb is the only part of the animal worth eating, our dogs would say otherwise.
Beyond the Animal
In addition to our protein, we also try to upcycle as many additional ingredients as possible. Here's a couple interesting ones that come to mind:
Brown Rice - After doing some digging, we learned that humans are really particular about their rice. So much so that if grains of rice break in half during the production proccess, manufacturers won't sell it because it doesn't look pretty. Why let that perfectly good rice go to waste?
Tomato Pomace - When tomatoes are turned into juice, ketchup, or sauce, the left over skins and seeds are highly nutritious. They're excellent sources of fiber, antioxidants, and amino acids.
