This FAQ page is designed to keep the goobr vibe—bold, direct, and slightly aggressive toward corporate waste—while answering the real questions pet owners have about transitioning to a zero-waste diet.

Is “Upcycled” just a fancy word for “Trash”?

Absolutely not. “Upcycled” means we’re using perfectly good, high-quality, human-grade ingredients that the mainstream food system was too inefficient to use. Think of it as rescuing premium proteins and fibers before they get tossed for no reason. It’s tested, it’s safe, and it’s arguably higher quality than the “mystery meal” you’ll find in Big Kibble’s plastic-lined nightmare bags.

How do I actually use the Goobr Station?

It’s easier than ordering a latte.
Bring a container. Any container. An old tub, a jar, or one of our reusable Goobr bags.
Tap the screen. Use the Goobr App or the touchscreen to select your flavor (Chicken, Lamb, Salmon, or Bison).
Fill ‘er up. Dispense exactly the amount you need.
Pay & Go. You pay by the pound, so you’re never forced into a “bulk size” you don’t want.

Is the food safe sitting in a big black container in a parking lot?

Our stations are high-tech, climate-controlled fortresses. They are airtight, moisture-sealed, and proprietary-engineered to keep the kibble fresh, crunchy, and pest-free. Plus, the whole thing is 100% solar-powered. The food is safer in our container than it is sitting in a hot warehouse for six months like the stuff at the big box stores.

Why don’t you just use compostable bags?

Because “compostable” is often a marketing scam. Most “compostable” plastics require industrial facilities to actually break down, and since they usually end up in a regular landfill anyway, they produce methane and do zero good. The only real solution is no bag at all. That’s why we’re refillable.

Is this going to cost me a fortune?

Actually, no. When you buy traditional dog food, a huge chunk of your money is going toward the plastic packaging, the long-distance shipping, and the massive marketing budgets of soul-less corporations. By cutting out the waste and making our food locally, we keep the price competitive while the quality stays elite.

What if I don’t have my own container?

Don’t panic. Our stations have reusable, heavy-duty Goobr bags available for purchase right at the machine. Buy it once, use it for the next decade.

Where is my nearest Goobr?

We’re currently holding down the fort at Belleview Station in Denver. Check the map in our app to find the closest container and join the revolution.
